[08 Jan 2008|12:34am] matt and i were watching lingo today on the game show network because frankly, there's nothing else on tv worth watching anymore. HOWEVER i realized that this show could quite possibly be one of the greatest creations ever. these contestants are actually serious on a show where the catchphrase is "go ahead and grab yourself some balls" genius. so we're watching and a 5 letter mystery word comes on screen. V A _ _ _ it was during the bonus round, so the dudes were trying to rack up as much points as possible, but they couldn't get this one. so they asked for a bonus letter. this is what came up: V A G _ _ i can't make this shit up people. one dude stared blankly while the other just got nervous and shrieked for another letter. V A G U _ we know the word is obviously VAGUE, but these dudes just CAN'T GET IT! they literally spent the rest of their 3 minutes or however long they get guessing the word V A G U N...which i'm not sure is even a word. FANTASTIC TV! so i leave you now with a clip from youtube. when i searched lingo only a few things came up, which is totally shocking because every episode is full of excitement and anguish. http://youtube.com/watch?v=acYdWxrRLz4 the only good thing in there starts around 1:20 and it's worth it. i honestly have no idea why i took the time to write this.
